E/Z Prime 950™
Water-soluble Extrusion Primer and
Lamination Adhesive
Description
E/Z Prime 950™ is a water-soluble polymer that is especially well suited
for promoting adhesion of polyethylene and polypropylene resins to various
other supporting films and papers used in extrusion coating, laminating and
printing. E/Z Prime 950™ also has served as a preprint primer and for
dry-bond laminating.

Packaging ApplicationsThe range of packaging applications using
E/Z Prime 950™ as a primary laminate adhesive is expanded by the fact that
it can be used, under USDA approval, for indirect food contact, and has
approval for other packaging controlled by FDA regulation 21 CFR part
175.105 which governs substances used only as adhesives components in food
packaging, 21 CFR part 176.170 governing substances used as a component of
paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous or fatty foods.. |
